3 Installation
Due to the high weight of the concrete column of about
125 kg, we recommend to carry out the installation with
at least two people.
For the installation of the concrete column, you have the
following options:
 Installation on a new on-site bedplate.
 Installation on an existing bedplate (see page 3).
 Installation on a prefabricated bedplate (see page 4).

The operator / owner is responsible for the secure installation
of the charging system according to the following
specification.
For mounting, MENNEKES recommends threaded bolts
and nuts both made of stainless steel with a strength
class of at least 70 (tensile strength 700 N/mm²). Use
only threaded bolts and nuts made of stainless steel to
prevent corrosion.

Create bedplate with two threaded bolts M16
according to dimensions on page 6. Route connecting
cables through an empty conduit. Cable length from top
edge of bedplate approx. 2.5 m!

Place concrete column on bedplate. Secure the concrete
column with two VA M16 nuts
torque spanner (tightening torque depending on selected
threaded bolt).
Alternatively, a prefabricated bedplate can be purchased
directly from Mönninghoff. For ordering information see
page 6.
