8 Set the address of the indoor unit connected by the remote controller whose
LOSSNAY you want to confirm using the [

9 Press the [ MENU] button and confirm the LOSSNAY address registered
at the set indoor unit address.
- Confirmation end display (When LOSSNAY is connected.)
The indoor unit address and "IC" and registered LOSSNAY address and
"LC" are alternately displayed.
- Confirmation end display (When LOSSNAY is not connected.)
Registered indoor unit address does not exist.
< 3. Deletion procedure >
Use this procedure when you want to delete registration of indoor units
connected by the remote controller and LOSSNAY.
0 Confirm (see 2. Confirmation procedure) the LOSSNAY you want to delete
and display the indoor units and LOSSNAY confirmation results.

3.7. Procedure for Test Run Using Remote
Controller
1. Before Starting Test Run
• After completing installation of the indoor and outdoor units, piping, and wiring,
check the power supply, and check for refrigerant leaks, wiring mistakes, loose
transmission lines, and incorrect polarity.
• Using a DC500 V Mega, check that the resistance between the power supply
terminal block and earth is 1.0 MΩ or more. Do not operate if this resistance is
less than 1.0 MΩ.
* Never measure the insulation resistance of the terminal blocks for the MA
remote controller and transmission cables.
2. Test Run Using Remote Controller
1. Press the [TEST] button twice successively within three seconds. Test run
starts.

• During the test run, the off timer is set for 2 hours, and operation stops
automatically after 2 hours has elapsed.
• During the test run, the temperature of the indoor unit pipe (liquid pipe) is
displayed in the room temperature section.

3.8. Procedure for Emergency Operation

1. In case of Outdoor Unit Failure
• With an outdoor unit model that has the capacity of the P500 or more and a
configuration consisting of multiple outdoor units, when some of the outdoor
units fail, the outdoor units that have not failed can perform emergency
operation.
• Error resetting with the remote controller can perform an emergency operation.
(1) Starting Emergency Operation
1 Error occurs. Detected error location and error code appear on the
remote controller.
2 Reset the error with the remote controller (press the ON/OFF button).
3 If emergency operation can be performed with the error indicated in 1
above (refer to the table below), retry starts.
4 If the same error is detected during the retry in 3 above, reset the error
again with the remote controller and start emergency operation.
