Alarm horn (optional)
The alarm horn sounds when an object is within the detection zone and is meant
to alert people to the reversing vehicles presence. The sound level of the alarm
horn automatically adjusts to the sound level of its environment.
External lights (optional)
External lights are to be mounted at the left and right side of the trailer when
equipped with a Greensight stand-alone system. The system replaces the
monitor with camera or the in-cab display unit.
Extra cameras (optional)
The use of an extra camera can be a handy option. One use of this camera is for
blind side corner detection at the front of the vehicle. When turning towards the
passenger side, the camera brings into view the entire blind side of the vehicle
and any obstacles that may be present.
Optionally, a front view camera can replace the current front view mirror. This
camera displays the entire area directly in front of the vehicle below 30 km/h
only.
Signal supply function
Greensight can be extended with the "signal supply" function, which supplies a
signal as soon as an object is detected in the detection zone directly behind the
vehicle (zone 3). The "signal supply" function enables an extra accessory to be
powered, such as an extra horn or warning lamp.
Self-test
Transportation application
When reverse gear is selected, the system will perform a self-test to verify
correct operation of the Greensight. After 1 second, the system is ready for use.
Industrial application (forklift trucks, wheel loaders, etc.)
When the engine is started, the system will self-test to verify correct operation of
the Greensight. After 1 second, the system is ready for use. When reverse gear
is selected, the system will self-test the sensors only. After half a second, the
system is ready for use.
