Circuit board

The circuit board (Fig. 4) contains:
· a rotary switch S1 ("Rotary switch – Configuring the external release", page 45),
· DIP switch S2 ("DIP switch", page 46) and
· jumper (short circuit bar) J ("Jumper", page 48).

The IO module housing must be opened for
configuration.
Open housing
1 Carefully lift the locking hooks on one side
of the housing cover with a suitable tool so that
the housing cover can be lifted.
2 Then carefully lift the locking hooks on the
other side so that the housing cover can now be
lifted completely.
3 Remove the cover.

You have opened the housing.
Configuration is conducted on the circuit board
of the IO module.
