Outputs / relays

Coupling lock (DIP 4 = off)
Relay R1 – Outer door handle
For a lock with split handle follower:
The relay switches if the outer door handle is
actuated.
Relay R2 – Inner door handle actuated
For a lock with split handle follower: The relay switches if the inner door handle is actuated.
For a lock with split handle follower: The relay switches if a door handle is actuated.
Relay R3 – Locking cylinder actuated
The relay switches if the locking cylinder is actuated.
Relay R4 – Door handle coupling
For a lock with split handle follower:
The relay switches if the outer door handle is
engaged.
Relay R5 – Unlocked
The relay switches when all bolts and, if applicable, the latch bolts are retracted and all electric strikes are
unlocked.
For safe sequence control: The door is completely unlocked, if relay
Relay R6 – Unlocked
The relay switches when the integrated door contact reports Door closed and
· all bolts are extended (with a motorised lock) or
· all bolts are extended (for a coupling lock) and the door handles are disengaged.
For safe sequence control: The door is securely locked, if relay
"DIP switch", page 46
Relay R7 – Door closed
The relay switches when all door contacts reports door closed.
Relay R8 – Alarm / fault
If no alarm and no fault are present, the relay is switched to NO (LED is lit). If an alarm or fault is present,
the relay will switch to NC (LED is not lit), for instance:
· the Hi-O Technology™ bus is offline,
· the coupling or bolts on the lock are jammed,
· low voltage ("Jumper", page 48) has been detected or the power supply has failed.
Motorised lock (DIP 4 = on)
Relay R1 – Fire alarm system
The relay switches if voltage is present at input
– Fire alarm system. If there is no electrical power, it
means that the fire alarm system reports an alarm
or has failed.
This function must be activated at DIP switch 7 ("DIP
switch", page 46).
Relay R4 – Swing door drive
This relay can be used to activate a swing door
drive.
The relay switches when the lock is completely
unlocked and the door can be opened.
R5 is switched to NO.
R6 is switched to NO.
