Intended use

The OneSystem ® IO module N5950 (IO module) is intended for the digital connection of OneSystem
via Hi-O Technology™. It is used as a connection with conventional devices such as:
· access control,
· on-site interlock controls or
· monitoring control units.
External control units and tripping contacts can be connected to the non-isolated digital inputs. The
potential-free relay outputs can be used to query the locks' function statuses and to control external
devices.
If materials or products not described in this manual are connected, such as cables or locks, the descrip-
tions for the use and installation from the respective manufacturer must be observed.
For the safe use of a motorised lock on fire and smoke protection doors, the 519ZBFS fire protection module
must be connected in addition to IO module N5950.
The OneSystem ® IO module N5950 is suitable for installation and use in accordance with these instructions.
It is not intended for any other type of use.
