8. Operation

Please note that when the 'Emission LED' is on, the laser is enabled and may emit laser light.
There is one LED on the remote control pad, one on the rear side and one on the front side of
the device. The LED on the device flashes if the device is connectect to the power supply. The
LED on the control pad flashes if the device is switched on.
8.1 Power supply
Make sure that your device is provided with the correct voltage. Wrong voltage could lead to
irreparable damages. Please find the correct voltage data in the synoptical table at the end
of this manual. It must be ensured that the device is not directed to people or inflammable
objects during installation.
8.2 ILDA control
To control your device connect it via ILDA cables to an interface/controller. The pinout and ma-
ximum voltages for the ILDA standard Sub-D connectors can be found on the following site.
Pin Signal
1 x-axis scanner, positive signal. Difference of 10V
2 y-axis scanner, positive signal. Difference of 10V
3 intensity/brightness, positive signal. Difference of 5V
4 & 17 Interlock. Linking of both enables output
5 red intensity, positive signal. Difference of 5V
6 green intensity, positive signal. Difference of 5V
7 blue intensity, positive signal. Difference of 5V
9 yellow intensity, positive signal. Difference of 5V (depending on the version)
10 cyan intensity, positive signal. Difference of 5V (depending on the version)
OR: DMX512 IN; positive signal (Showeditor and Phoenix interfaces).
11 DMX512 OUT; positive signal (depending on the version)
13 Shutter. Difference of 5V
14 x-axis scanner, negative signal. Difference of 10V
15 y-axis scanner, positive signal. Difference of 10V
16 intensity/brightness, negative signal. Difference of 5V
18 red intensity, negative signal. Difference of 5V
19 green intensity, negative signal. Difference of 5V
20 blue intensity, negative signal. Difference of 5V
22 yellow intensity, negative signal. Difference of 5V
