There must not be any LED lights in the rear light receptacle, otherwise the cover will not close
correctly.
Installing the cover grid
1. Lift the cover out of the hinges of the cover frame from above (⌦C.
2. The distance from the skimmer to the frame edge must be 11 cm (⌦F). Move the skimmer
accordingly.
3. Remove the foam cup from the skimmer from above (⌦G).
4. Move the cover grid over the skimmer (⌦H) until it rests on the LED lights.
5. Connect the foam cup to the skimmer (⌦I).
6. Carefully place the cover on the aquarium (⌦J).
7. Check the correct function and fit accuracy by folding the cover back and snapping it shut (⌦K).
The guiding edge of the cover grid should be flush with the cover in the closed state. You may also
have to adjust the skimmer accordingly.
Installing the air pump (⌦J)
DANGER! Personal injury or material damage.
▶ Heed the operating manual for the air pump, especially the chapters on safety, commissioning and
operation!
Laying the cable and hoses (⌦J)
1. Feed the cable and hoses through the corresponding openings f in the cover frame to the outside.

Filling the aquarium
CAUTION! Material damage.
▶ Do not use hard objects or cleaning agents for cleaning.
1. Before filling, thoroughly clean the aquarium with warm water and a soft, clean sponge.
2. Decorate the aquarium with sand, corals, plants, etc.
DANGER! Electrocution due to penetrating water!
The LED light is only protected against penetrating water if immersed temporarily.
▶ The distance from the underside of the lights e to the highest water mark must be a minimum of
15 mm (⌦M).
3. Fill the aquarium with water to a maximum of 15 mm below the lower side of the LED lights e
(⌦M).
Switching the LED lights on/off
1. Insert the mains plug in the mains socket.
2. Switch the LED light on or off on the on/off switch.
