1. GENERAL
1.1 Applications
The submersible motor pump is designed for the collection of black
water, water containing faecal matter, muddy water (up to 10% dry
matter), drainage water and clean liquids contained in tanks,
ditches or reservoirs. For example, it may be used in a wastewater
treatment plant or as a flooded room or area discharge pump. It
may be installed as a fixed or mobile appliance.
Under no circumstances may the pump be used for the circulation
of drinking water.

functioning.
2.2 Staff qualifications
The pump must only be assembled by staff with the appropriate
qualifications.
2.3 Risks incurred if the safety instructions are not followed
Failure to comply with the safety instruction could result in personal
injury or damage to the pump or installation. It may also invalidate
any claim for damages.
In particular, failure to comply may lead to :
- The failure of the pump's or the installation's main functions.
- Danger for persons in case of electric and mechanical dysfunction
of the machine.
- Danger for persons in case of nonobservance of the instructions of
hygiene at the time of the treatment of the faeces.
- Danger to the people and the environment in the event of
dangerous matter leakage.
