This appliance can be installed like a wood stove.
The rules for installation are identical, particularly
as regards the following points :
- The type and installation requirements of the
chimney flue compatible with this usage.
The connection of the fireplace to the chimney
-
flue.
Room ventilation.

Chapter 4 deals specifically with this appliance :
Installation against a backing wall.

- Height adjustment.
•
Be careful, this appliance does not allow the
joining of sheaths for hot air exits : the safety of
the environment can no longer be ensured if the
screens which protect the backing wall are
modified (pierced, moved).
•
The following
recommendations for proper fireplace operation.
The building technical rules DTU 24-2-2 and 24.1
fully describe the specifications related to smoke
evacuation and fresh air intake requirements.

The appliance C07680 is in conformity with the
French standards NF EN 13240.

2 - FIREPLACE CHARACTERISTICS

2.1 - Description

This is a heating appliance with a continuous or
intermittent use with combustion on a grate, working
exclusively with wood, with a semi-closed combustion
chamber, and meant to be fit against a wall without
any further protection.

SPECIFICATIONS.
- Obtained with a draft of 12 Pa, and a wood
load of 2,8 kg, comprised of 2 unsplit
hardwood logs.
- The output indicated is the average output
obtained during this 45 min test.

A range superior to 10 hours, on the slow pace, is
obtained with a load of wood of 6.4 kg in one log,
by completely shutting the air setting, under a
draft of 6 Pa.

2.3 - Description (Fig. 1)
•
The fireplace consists of an insert, an exchanger
assembly and the trim. It is delivered in one
basic
package.
•
The main elements which make up the insert are
identified in figure 1 :
The combustion chamber is made of 4 mm
-
thick steel and the back of the insert is
doubled with a cast iron hearth plate.
The door is in cast-iron, provided with joints
-
which ensure the tightness and allow a great
range of working.
The adjusting slide located on the lower
-
section of the door is used to set the burning
rate.
- A secondary air inlet is built into the upper part
of the glass door to keep it clean and to
provide better combustion on the wood.
- The C07680 is equipped with a wind tunnel,
with a two-speed motorized-fan, which allows
you to speed up the convection around the
hearth.

Net weight of the appliance : 195 kg.
For the handling of the appliance, remove the
door as well as the different parts in cast iron
located in the hearth.
