5. safety InstruCtIons

Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of your health but also for
the protection of the device. Please read carefully through the following points:
In case of damage incurred by disregarding this instruction manual, the warranty claim is void. Liability
for any and all consequential damage is excluded!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or
non-compliance with the safety instructions. The warranty is voided in these cases.
a) general information
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety
and approval reasons (CE).
• Maintenance, setting jobs or repairs may only be carried out by a specialist/specialised workshop.
There are no components for you to adjust or maintain within the device.
• In industrial facilities, the regulations for the prevention of accidents laid down by the professional
trade associations for electrical equipment and facilities must be adhered to.
• If the product is used at schools, training facilities, do-it-yourself and hobby workshops, it should not
be handled unless supervised by trained, responsible personnel.
• The device is not a toy. It is not suitable for children. Children cannot judge the dangers involved
when handling chargers or batteries .
• Pay particular attention if children are present! Children could attempt to poke objects into the
device. This will result in the device being destroyed and there is a considerable risk to life from
electrical shock!
• The product may only be set up, used or stored in places that are not accessible to children.
Children may change the settings or short-circuit the accumulator/accumulator pack, which can lead
to an explosion. Mortal danger!
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing
material for children.
• If one must assume that safe operation is no longer possible, then the device must be put out of
operation and secured against any inadvertent operation.
