Intended Use
Half mask X-plore 2100 and particle filter 882 form a filter apparatus set that
protects against certain harmful particles. The choice of the respiratory filter
depends on the pollutants in the vicinity. For details please refer to the Instructions
of Use of particle filter 882. The choice of the mask size depends on the face
shape and size of the user.
Limitations on Use
WARNING!
Never use unless the ambient air contains at least:
— 17 % vol. oxygen in Europe except The Netherlands, Belgium, UK
— 19 % vol. oxygen in The Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, New
Zealand, UK
— 19.5 % vol. oxygen in the USA.
Never use in unventilated reservoirs, pits, canals, etc.!
Never use the mask without Dräger particle filter 882! Strictly follow
the Instructions for Use of the particle filter.
Never allow personnel to use this product who have not been thorou-
ghly trained!
Never use damaged or used filters and respirators! Failure to follow
these warnings could lead to death or serious injury.
Make sure to wear the required protective equipment.
When using the half mask in explosion-hazard areas, treat with antistatic spray or
apply a water film.
Temperature during use: -30 to 60
Users in the USA: Please refer to the cautions and limitations mentioned on the
approval label (see page 255).
