All electrical installation should be carried out by a qualiied electrician in accordance with
current local codes or regulations.
2.
All repairs and service should be carried out by a Dyson service engineer, authorised
Dyson service agent or Dyson trained technician.
3.
The Dyson Airblade
hand dryer must be earthed.

Isolate power for installation or servicing.
5.
Dyson recommends the use of protective clothing/safety glasses when installing/repairing
as necessary.
6.
Trouble free operation and safety can only be guaranteed if genuine Dyson spare parts
are used.
7.
Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
8.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
CAUTION
Do not use the Dyson Airblade
hand dryer for any purpose other than drying hands.

Risk of electric shock! Do not remove casing or attempt to repair unless unit is being
serviced by qualiied service personnel. If casing is removed or handled improperly the
internal components of the Dyson Airblade
permanently damaged.
To reduce the risk of ire or electric shock, do not expose the internal mechanisms/
components of this unit to moisture.
ClEANINg ADVICE
Make sure that all surfaces of the Dyson Airblade
are cleaned daily with a soft cloth and non-abrasive, non-caustic
cleaning solution.
MAINTENANCE ADVICE
Regularly check the air inlet at the base of the Dyson Airblade
hand dryer to ensure that it is free from dust and debris. If the air
inlet gets dirty simply remove dust or debris.
Make sure that all of the Dyson Airblade
and the (4) sensor lenses are wiped down daily to maintain
uninterrupted operation of the unit.

HOw TO USE
1. Insert your hands and the Dyson Airblade™ hand dryer will start automatically.
2. Move your hands up and down slowly through the air.
USE OF DYSON AIRblADE™ HAND DRYERS IN
FOOD PREPARATION AREAS
The following information applies only to AB03 (plastic). It does
not apply to AB01(aluminium).
AB03 is suitable for use in food handling areas provided that
two rubber front fascia plugs are installed. These are different
from the plugs that you received with the machine. If you are a
food manufacturing, processing or catering unit, please contact
the Dyson Helpline to ensure that you receive your fascia plug
pack, which includes the rubber plugs and instructions for itting.

page 16 of this booklet.

Check fuse/circuit breaker is working and
that the power supply is connected. Ensure
sensors are clean.

CONSEIlS D'ENTRETIEN
Vériiez régulièrement (une fois par mois) l'entrée d'air située à la
base du sèche-mains Dyson Airblade™, ain de vous assurer que
la poussière ne s'y accumule pas. Si l'entrée d'air présente des
impuretés, enlevez-les soigneusement.
Assurez-vous que toutes les surfaces et les 4 lentilles du sèche-
mains Dyson Airblade™ sont nettoyées quotidiennement ain
d'assurer un fonctionnement constant de l'appareil.
