Press the TONE button.

Turn the MULTI JOG knob until the
desired tone control appears, and then
press the knob to determine your
selection.
< The following two controls are available:
Treble and Bass.
< The current level setting appears with " * ".

Turn the MULTI JOG knob to change
the setting, and then press the knob to
determine your selection.
< The level can be adjusted from -5 to +5.

Headphones

Insert the headphones plug into the
phones jack ( ), and adjust the volume.
When a stereo FM broadcast is received, you can
listen to stereo sound by connecting your stereo
headphones to the phones jack.
You can also listen to stereo sound from an
external source that is connected to the AUX IN
jack.
CAUTION
Always lower the volume level before plugging
in your headphones.
TO AVOID DAMAGING YOUR HEARING - Do not
place your headphones on your head until after
you have plugged them in.
