Compact probes KFX-5... / KFX-4...
With the compact probes the evaluation unit is integrated in to the connection head.
Mounting:
Screw the compact probe by means of the process connection to a suitable device.
Attention:
The process connection of the probe is the connection to the container or the counter electrode. That means
the electric conductive connection to the container/counter electrode must be guaranteed.
Sealing material required for mounting of the process connection is not supplied with the compact probe.
After screwing-in and fixing in place the process connection part of the head, the top of the stainless steel
connection head can be moved by up to max. 350° in order to put the cable termination in the desired position.
For doing this, please loosen the M6-Hexagon bolt using an hexagon key (do not remove it). Then it has to
be fixed again! The clamp-terminals for the connection of the supply-voltage and the outputs are available
by unscrewing the lid of the connection head.
Adjustment:
The adjustment is the same as for the one-switching-point evaluation units see page 23. With one-switching-
point units the adjustment is made at potentiometer A, with two-switching-point units the lower measuring
point is assigned to potentiometer A and the second to potentiometer B.
