Cleaning the appliance

D Remove limescale in the tank with a vinegar solution or a limescale dissolving detergent.
Take note of the cleaning instructions provided by the detergent manufacturer when using
limescale dissolving detergents.
. Cleaning:
− Fill the tank with a vinegar solution so that all the limescale is covered.
− Boil the vinegar solution briefly and allow to act for about 15 to 30 minutes depending on
the limescale deposits.
− Drain the cleaning vinegar into a storage container. You can use the vinegar solution
repeatedly to remove limescale.
− Clean the tank and the trivet.
. Empty and clean the containers.
. Rinse the cleaned surfaces thoroughly with water and rub them dry.
. Clean stainless steel surfaces with grease-cutting cleaning products or special stainless
steel cleaners.
. Close the drain tap.

Before emptying
CAUTION The tank can be damaged by
overheating. For this reason, always switch the
appliance off before draining it.
. Close water valve by turning clockwise.
. Turn off appliance and let it cool down.
. Remove containers from the tank.
