If both functions have been started, the display of function
„heating" always has preference. If in this case the speed is
changed via rotary knob „Mot" (not possible in C -mode of
operation), the display reverses to speed display for a duration
of 5 seconds.
The mode of the display can also be changed by pressing foil
key „Mode" once. After 5 seconds the display shifts back to
temperature display.
If function „heating" is switched off, and if the heating plate
temperature is higher than 50°C, LED „Temp" will be blinking
green (20% ON ... 80%OFF).

Switching on
The instrument is switched on by the mains switch on the left
side of the instrument (see Ill. 1).
A self test cycle for all the safety functions is run and a reco-
gnition cycle of the temperature sensors connected up is also
run.
• The "Temp" and "Mot" LEDs and the LCD display segments
flash for approximately 2 seconds.
• The software version number (e.g. "V000") is displayed.
• The status of the intermittent mode (On/OFF Intermit) and
the stirring bar breakaway monitoring (On/OFF SAFE Rpm)
functions are displayed.
• The message TEST Probe is displayed.
• The operating mode (A, B or C) is displayed.

• The safe temperature limit of the heating plate is displayed
as SAFE H xxx °C (SV flashes).

nected up, their safe temperature limit is displayed as SAFE P
xxx °C (SV flashes).
• The message SAFE P OK is displayed.
