Cause
• SAFE TEMP H (Probe) is set a tem-
perature lower than the heating plate
actual temperature.
• Breakage of the heating plate tempe-
rature control sensor
• There is a short-circuit in a switching
element (Triac) of the heating control
circuit
• Safety relay has shutdown the heating
circuit.
• The heating or the connection is
broken
• The heating plate safety temperature
sensor is broken.
• Irregular temperature distribution on
the heating plate due to point heat
dissipation
• Fault in the control or safety tempe-
rature sensors.
• Stirring bar has broken away on four
consecutive occasions without any
changes to the setpoint value.
• PC does not send OUT_WDx@m
data during the watchdog time
• The connection/cable to the PC is
broken
Effect Solution
Heating OFF. • Allow the heating plate to cool.
• Set SAFE TEMP H (Hotplate) to a
higher temperature.
Heating OFF. • Switch off the unit. Allow it to cool down
and then switch on again.
Heating OFF. • Switching off the unit. Allow in to cool
down and then switch on again.
• When using metal blocks on the heating
plate surface, ensure regular heat
dissipation
Heating OFF.
The setpoint speed is • Select a lower speed setpoint.
