Interchangeable jaw

Caution!
Risk of injury from inadvertent pressing of the start button when
installing the segments in the interchangeable jaw.
Therefore:
Installing the segments in the interchangeable jaw (Fig. 1)
Push the segments into the interchangeable jaw as shown (Fig. 1) until they engage.
Removing the segments from the interchangeable jaw
Press the button (A/Fig. 1) while simultaneously pushing out the segment.

Initial use

Note!
When inserting the interchangeable jaw/adaptor jaw in the press device compliance
with the Operating Manual of the press device is mandatory.
Insert the interchangeable jaw/adaptor jaw in the press device.

Performing the pressing operation

Warning
Risk of injury from ejected fragments as the result of material fatigue.

Only install segments in the interchangeable jaw when the interchangeable jaw is
not mounted onto the press device.
Press tools are wearing parts. Frequent pressing will result in material fatigue.
Press tools worn or damaged in any other way as the result of material fatigue can
break even if used properly; there is then a risk of injury from ejected fragments.
The risk of breakage is further increased in the event of improper use.
