Scope of delivery

 External noise attenuation casing
 Internal noise attenuation core
 Protection grille
 Mounting bracket (4x)
 Self-tapping screw, for fastening the internal noise attenuati-
on core to the mounting bracket
8x for HSDV Ø 315-500 mm
16x for HSDV Ø 560-630 mm
 Self-drilling screw, for fastening the external noise attenuati-
on casing to the roof fan casing
16x for HSDV Ø 315-450 mm
20x for HSDV Ø 500-560 mm
24x for HSDV Ø 630 mm
 Sheet-metal screw, for fastening the protection grille to the external noise attenuation casing
(
not included in the scope of delivery: Re-use the sheet-metal screws attached to the roof fan for fastening the protection grille)
12x for HSDV Ø 315-560 mm
16x for HSDV Ø 630 mm

3 .3 Installation
Prepare roof fan
The safety and warning instructions in the Installation and Operating Instructions for the roof fan must be observed
in any case!
Risk of electric shock.
An electric shock can result in death or severe injuries.
Before work on the unit, disconnect the unit from the mains power supply!

1. In case of roof fan sizes Ø 450-630 mm:
Loosen and remove lifting brackets.
2. Remove protection grille by loosening the sheet-metal screws  (keep sheet-metal screws for fastening the
protection grille ).
3. In case of roof fan sizes Ø 450-630 mm:
Loosen and remove spacer for lifting brackets.
The fastening screws for the spacer must not fall into the fan!
Risk of injury due to ejected screws.
An ejected screw can result in severe injuries.
Retrieve all screws that fall into the unit!

Ensure that there are no loose screws in the unit!

