7.0 DISPOSAL

7.1.1 The unit must be dis-
posed and recycled in accor-
dance with the law. Please
contact your municipality or waste
management company for information.
Dispose of the unit in accordance with
the EC Directive on Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment 2002/96/EC-
WEEE.
7.1.2 Please follow the applicable laws
on waste disposal when disposing of
the packaging.
7.1.3 Do not dispose of batter-
ies in your household rubbish.

Instead, dispose through your
appliance or electronics store or your
municipal recycling facilities. As a con-
sumer you are obligated to return
waste batteries for disposal. The
following symbols indicate a battery
containing hazardous substances:
Pb = contains lead
Hg = contains mercury and
Cd = contains cadmium.
