5.0 MAINTENANCE
AND CARE
5.1 Cleaning, maintenance and
storage
5.1.1 WARNING! Be sure all equipment
functions are switched off and dis-
connect it from the 230 V charging
mains adapter or the 12 V car charger
before cleaning. Especially verify the
cover

for the 12 V car plug socket
is secured!
5.1.2 Clean the unit with a dry cloth. Do
not use liquids or harsh cleaners. The
unit could otherwise be damaged! Do
not allow liquids to enter the unit! Do
not immerse the unit in liquids! Only
operate the unit when dry!
5.1.3 Only keep / store the unit in dry
environments! Moisture can damage
the unit's electronics!

5.1.4 Do not expose the unit to high
temperatures as these could shorten
the life of electronic devices and dam-
age the storage battery. Further, plastic
components could deform or melt.
5.1.5 Do not expose the unit to extreme
temperature fluctuations! This will
result in condensation, which can
damage the electronics!
5.1.6 Do not drop the equipment and
do not expose to shock or impact. The
housing could fracture or the sensitive
electronics on the unit could be
damaged.
5.1.7 If the unit is no longer properly
functioning please return it to the
retailer.
