10. Never immerse the appliance
in water or any other liquid.
Avoid any contact with water.
If this should happen, all
parts of the compliance are
completely dry before using
it again. Only for cleaning
the appliance can be wiped
with a soft damp cloth.
11. Never place the base on a
hot surface or a metal tray.
12. Always place the appliance
of a flat, solid, dry and heat-
resisting surface.
13. Keep a sufficient distance to
walls and inflammable mate-
rials such as curtains etc.
14. Do not pull at the cord to
move the appliance and do
not wind the cord around the
appliance during use.
15. Never cover the appliance
during or directly after use,
when it is still hot.
16. Ensure, that the power cord
does not hang down from the
worktop as children can pull
the lead and thereby cause a
serious accident.
17. The surface of the appliance
becomes very hot during use,
so do not touch hot surfaces
or cooking plates. If neces-
sary use oven gants.
18. Never switch on the appli-
ance
without
filled saucepan on the res-
pective cooking plate. Ide-
ally you should use flat bot-
tomed saucepans with the
same diameter as the coo-
king plate.
