Writing Compression tester, made in 2 models, for petrol and Diesel en-
gines, is introduced on the market with important technical innovations
to simplify work for mechanics that place it above similar models on the
market.

Technical properties:

-
Card with wide reading scale: scale 4-17 (for petrol engines) and 8-40 (for Die-
sel engines), distributed on about 50 mm, ensures an extremely precise and simple to
read diagram.

Possibility of recording 8 tests (+2 optional ones) on the card.

New connection system on the spark-plug hole (for petrol engines) through a
very simple and quick junction: the cylinder pressure keeps the connector in place.

New quick connection on Diesel engine false injectors , without need of wren-
ches.

Full set of Diesel engine false injectors or false heater plugs (sold separately).
N.B.
– The compression tester is a differential manometer and therefore does not requi-
re specific certifications, being the measurements indicative.
Operating instructions:
-
Warm the engine to its normal operating temperature.
-
Turn off the engine and put the gear in neutral.
-
Remove all the spark-plugs or injectors or heater plugs.
-
Open the carburettor throttle completely (for petrol engines only).
-
Close the gas-oil delivery (for Diesel engines only).
-
Turn the engine on for a few revolutions to remove loose carbon.
-
Put a new card in the holder and insert it in the compression tester, as shown in
the drawing. In that case, the writing needle corresponds with the inscription
"cylinder 1 ".
Petrol engines
-
plug hole and keep lightly pressed during the first engine revolutions. The rubber of the
connector will expand and adhere to the spark plug thread. At the end of the test, release
the pressure by moving the designated slider, then push the quick connector towards the
engine and remove it.
Diesel engines
-
of the ones removed and connect the compression tester quick connection to the false
injector or heater plug.

Release the pressure by moving the slider as shown on the drawing. The wri-
