Installation procedure
4. Install the wall-hanging bracket to the wall.
1. Based on the dimension drawing, find the positions of the holes which will be used to mount the brackets on
the wall, and mount the brackets on the wall.
2. Horizontal installation Install the wall-hanging bracket so that its engraved mark (arrow) is pointing up.
Vertical installation
3. Use commercially available bolts or nuts with a nominal diameter of 12 mm (0.5 inches) to secure the
brackets at all 8 mounting holes.
Caution
Use commercially available bolts with a nominal diameter of 12 mm (0.5 inches) that are suited to the wall
material.
Check the strength of the mounting bolts, and use bolts which are strong enough.
Notes
The "V" and "H" engraved marks on the wall-hanging bracket and the engraved marks in the center of the
joints indicate the center position of the plasma display.
It is recommended that you leave a maintenance space of at least 70 cm (27.6 inches) behind the plasma
display.

Note
With a vertical installation only, remove the screws (two each) for securing the unit lock-in brackets provided
on the right side of the "L" and "R" bracket units, and remove the unit lock-in brackets. Rotate the unit lock-in
brackets through 180 degrees so that they are positioned back to front, and secure them using the screws
which were removed.

Install the wall-hanging bracket with the unit marked "L" at the top.
