DAB

Overview

Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) is a
transmission system on terrestrial networks.
Each DAB station bundles radio programmes
(services) into an ensemble, which it then
broadcasts. Each service contains one or more
components.
The same programme can often be received on
different frequencies.

Before operating the DAB tuner
Depending on whether or not the DAB aerial
connected to the DAB aerial input terminal
requires power, set as follows:
Powered aerial: "Phantom-on"
Unpowered aerial:"Phantom-off"

card remote commander.

Caution
When tuning in stations while driving, use the
BTM function to prevent an accident.

Storing services automatically

BTM

Press (SOURCE) repeatedly until
"DAB" appears.
"Checking" appears while the unit is
checking the reception system of DAB.
To change the band, press (MODE)
repeatedly. You can select from DAB1, DAB2
or DAB3.

Press and hold (BTM) until "BTM"
flashes.
The unit stores services on the number
buttons.
A beep sounds when the setting is completed.
