Storing services manually

While receiving the service that you
want to store, press and hold a
number button ((1) to (6)) until a
beep sounds.
The number button indication appears in the
display.
Note
If you try to store another service on the same number
button, the previous stored service will be replaced.
Tip
When a service is stored, the AF/TA setting (page 9),
the announcement setting (page 12) and "Link" setting
(page 14) is also stored.

Receiving stored services

Select the band, then press a number
button ((1) to (6)).
With the card remote commander
To select preset services, press M or m.

Tuning services automatically

Select the band, then press and hold
(SEEK) +/– to search for the ensemble.
Scanning stops when the unit receives an
ensemble. Repeat this procedure until the
desired ensemble is received.

Press (SEEK) +/– to select the service
in the selected ensemble.

Selecting PTY

Press (PTY) during DAB service
reception.
The current programme type name appears if
the service is transmitting PTY data.

Press (PTY) repeatedly until the
desired programme type appears.

Press (SEEK) +/–.
The unit starts to search for a service
broadcasting the selected programme type.
With the card remote commander
In step 2, to select the programme type, press M or m.
Note
You cannot use this function in countries/regions
where no PTY data is available.
Tip
For details on type of programmes, see "Type of
programmes" on page 10.

Setting the DAB announcement

When the DAB announcement setting is set to
"on," the announcement will automatically
interrupt the currently selected source.

Select a source, then press (ANNC)
repeatedly until the desired DAB
announcement appears.

Press the volume +/– button to select
the setting ("on" or "off").
With the card remote commander
• In step 1, to change the DAB announcement, press
M or m.
• In step 2, to select the setting, press < or ,.
Type of announcement
The default setting is all "off."
