• Pull the shaft (2) out of the shaft tube in an upward direc-
tion. Push the bearing (6) out of the shaft tube (1) by using
the bar included with the tool set.
• The bearing (6) shall be replaced in the case of wear.
Reassemble the dispersion tool in the reverse sequence.

Dispersion tool S 25 KR -

Overview (Fig. 5)
The bearing of the S 25 KR shaft consists of a ball bearing. The dispersion
tool is sealed by means of rotary shaft seals (5) and an O-ring (6). The shaft
is provided with a dispersion head when it leaves the factory.
The dispersion tool can be disassembled for cleaning as described below:
• Unscrew the rotor (10) from the shaft (14) using the generator and
shaft key included in the tool set. The rotor is held fast by means of
the generator key and screwed off from above by turning the shaft
using the shaft key.
• Unscrew the stator (9) from the shaft tube (11) (left-hand thread).
Insert flat key into the front-end slot of the shaft tube. By using the
generator key the stator may now be screwed off in a clockwise

• Pull the shaft (14) out of the shaft tube in an upward direction. The
individual parts (4, 6 and 12) may now be simply removed from the
shaft tube (11).
• The rotary shaft seals (5) in the stator and the O-ring (6) must be
replaced in the case of wear.
Reassemble the dispersion tool in the reverse sequence. In order to
protect the rotary shaft seals push the bushing included in the tool set over
the shaft thread. The guide angle of the bushing provides for easy assembly
and prevents damage.

Sterilization :
After cleaning the dispersion tools the method A) is suitable for this disper-
sion tool. The methods B) and C) must not be used otherwise the ball bea-
ring and seals will be destroyed.

The bearing of the S 25 KV shaft consists of two ball bearings and single-
thrust slide ring seal. The slide rings are made of SiC. The shaft is provided
with a dispersion head when it leaves the factory.
