2. Fit the hinge (B) on the two gas
cylinders. To ensure that the
lifting force of the gas cylinders
is sufficient for the size of motor
involved, the distance between
the pivot point to the cylinder
fixing point must be adjusted
to suit. The fixing points for
various sizes of motor are given
below.
A B
C D
E F
G
A -
B - 2,2 kW (3 hp)
B - 3,7 kW (5 hp)
3. To be able to fit the hinge on
the Multievacuator unit, the gas
cylinders must be compressed.
Much force is required and it is
therefore necessary to use a
special tool (C) to fit/remove the
gas cylinders
C - 5,5 kW (7,5 hp) - 60 Hz
D - 7,5 kW (10 hp) - 60 Hz
E - 1,5 kW (2 hp)
F - 3,0 kW (4 hp)
G - 5,5 kW (7,5 hp) - 50 Hz
- 60 Hz
- 60 Hz
Fit the special tool on the two cyl-
inders as shown and use the tool
spindle to compress them enough
to enable the bolt (D)
to be fitted. To provide space for
the hinge, it is necessary to tilt it
- 50 Hz
- 50 Hz
up slightly at the same time as the
cylinders are being compressed.
Note that when fitted to the cylin-
ders the tool bracket (E) must point
inwards or outwards, depending
on the position of the fixing point -
otherwise it will not be possible to
remove the special tool after the
hinge is in place.
The blower can now be mounted
on the hinge.
Removing the gas cylinders
The procedure for removing the
gas cylinders is the opposite to the
fitting procedure.
