Connect the charger's 220 - 240 V AC mains input to an easily accessible mains wall socket close to
the charger itself. Switch the charger on by operating the mains switch on the back panel; the screen
should now light up.
The top half of the screen displays the voltage, the bottom half the current.
This charger is designed for charging LiPo and LiFe batteries. It is comprehensively protected against
overload and short-circuit, and requires no maintenance.

The charger is fitted with a wide range of protective systems and monitoring circuits which constantly assess
the individual functions and the internal electronics. Nevertheless you should always avoid connecting the
batteries as shown in the pictures below, as defective batteries can fail without warning, and could then
cause damage to the charger.
The balancer sockets are polarised; note the lateral guides. Never use force to insert the connectors; they
should engage smoothly and easily.
The cables are generally colour-coded: black (brown) wire = negative (-) terminal, red wire = positive
terminal (+).

incorrectly
Typical wiring arrangement:
Connect the LiPo battery to the "Charger
Output" output, and connect the balancer
connector to the balancer socket.
CAUTION: please take particular
care to maintain correct polarity: red
plug on charge lead to the left (+),
black plug to the right (-). It is essential to
use charge leads of adequate conductor
cross-section. Charge leads must not be
more than 30 cm long, and must termina-
te in high-quality connectors at both ends
(gold-contact types).
CAUTION: the black wire of the ba-
lancer plug (-) must always be con-
nected to PIN 1 (GND) of the socket,
regardless of the number of cells the bat-
tery contains (and therefore the number of
wires at the balancer plug).
