This equipment is a lifting jack only. After lifting the vehicle, it must be supported by safety links.
Work underneath the lifted vehicle and during the ascent and descent is not permitted.
Vehicles should only be lifted at the lifting points recommended by the car manufacturer. Be careful to check that the
jack does not come into contact with areas near the airbag activation sensors during and after lifting.
Do not place the skids on an area with plastic trim.
In the event of a severe impact on the load-bearing and/or structural components of the jack, it is essential to take the
product out of service and contact your dealer or GYS to assess the damage before putting it back into service.
In case of doubt about the strength of the vehicle structure (presence of rust) - Do not lift the vehicle.
Intended use also includes familiarising yourself with these operating instructions and complying with all the instructions
contained therein, in particular the safety instructions.
Ensure compliance with safety and risk prevention standards in the country's workplaces.
In addition, this also includes the obligation to carry out all inspection and maintenance work at regular intervals.
PACKAGING AND UNLOADING
The lift is packed in a cardboard box on a pallet. Inside the packaging are the instructions for use, inspec-
tion and maintenance of the lift. The declaration of conformity is available on our website (www.gys.fr) or
by scanning the code opposite to access it directly.
Upon delivery, check for external transport damage. In case of visible damage, leave the goods and packaging as they
are. Do not use the goods and contact your dealer directly.
Unloading is done by means of pallet trucks or forklift trucks (carton weight 122kg).
START UP
The SPOT LIFT PRO is a movable lift that must be used on a flat, perfectly levelled surface and capable of supporting
the loading load.
Use and transport on an irregular surface that prevents proper operation is prohibited.
The operations described below must be carried out by expert and responsible operators. Before starting the installa-
tion, you must mark out a clean and free area without obstacles.
Assemble the control lever using 2 M8 x 45 screws and 2 lock nuts to secure it to the jack frame (do not overtighten first
to adjust the clearance). Insert the rocker arms into the central beam and secure the locking ring with M6x12 screws.
Finally, assemble the stainless steel wires on the supports and on the pins and skids.
