Fit the cross-headed screws into the drilled holes of the clamping mechanism on
the cross-bars. Do not tighten the screws yet.
At the lower end of the telescopic supports, there is a hexagonal screw fitted, turn this until it sticks out by
about 20 - 30 mm and fit the rubber feet with the small diameter onto the ends.
Now the baggage protection mesh is complete and it can be installed in the vehicle. To do this, place the baggage protection
mesh in the luggage compartment. Pull the telescopic supports on the cross-bars as far apart as possible. Set the cross-bars to
the right height for your vehicle. Tighten the cross-headed screws. Undo the plastic nuts on the telescopic supports and pull
them far enough apart that the baggage mesh fits between the vehicle roof and the base of the boot. Now tighten the plastic
nuts. To then secure in place, rotate the manually-operated nuts at the lower end of the supports in an counterclockwise directi-
on until the baggage protection mesh is firmly seated. Pull the cross-bars out to the width of your boot.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Maintenance: Regularly check the firm seating of the baggage protection mesh.
Care: Clean the baggage protection mesh only with a mild cleaning agent and a damp cloth.
