before mounting and using for the
first time. Follow the instructions.
Pass these instructions onto the
owner for safekeeping.
1. Scope of delivery
Shutter, protective grille, these mounting and
operating instructions.

2. Specialist installer qualification

Mounting is only permitted when carried out
by trained specialists.
3. Intended use
Airstream-operated opening/closing shutters
for ventilating rooms – these also provide
weather protection and serve as a cold air
barrier. With galvanised protective grille as
protection against accidental contact in
accordance with EN ISO 13857.
Starting from a nominal size of 35, there is a
central bar to increase the shutter stability.
Also suited for areas subject to explosion
hazards (zone 1 or zone 2).
Recommended accessories for ZVR
connection frames (mounting of the shutter
on the fan instead of on the wall).
Operation is only permitted:
● with a fixed installation on a wall with
sufficient load-bearing capacity.
● when mounted with appropriate mounting
material.
● with a vertical/horizontal installation
position.
● when installed with a protective grille with
free air inlet or outlet for a fan.
The shutters are only intended for domestic
use and similar purposes. No other or
additional use is intended.

4. Safety instructions and
warnings
Risk of injury in entrance areas if ice
forms due to falling icicles. Never
install shutter above entrance areas that are
not covered.
Danger of injury when working at
heights. Use appropriate climbing aids
(ladders). Stability should be ensured, if
necessary have the ladders steadied by a
2nd person. Ensure that you are standing
securely and cannot lose your balance and
that there is no one under the unit.
Exercise caution when handling
packaging materials. Observe
applicable safety and accident prevention
requirements. Store packaging material out of
the reach of children (risk of suffocation).
5. Environmental conditions and
operating limits
● Ambient temperature of a max. of 60 °C
● Storage: Store unit exclusively in a dry
location (-20 to +60 °C).
