INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

After the supply of the lift has been connected, and after havind read the warning and precautions paragraph
above, proceed as follows :
LIFTING :
• Before lifting a vehicle, make sure the tyre pressure is correct in order to maintain a good balance of the
vehicle.
• Make sure that the vehicle is correctly blocked, with hand brake tightened. Carefully check its is efficient.
• Position the lift such that the fork positions itself correctly on each side of the wheel. In case the sill lifitng
tool is used, check carefully its position before lifting.
• Always make sure the lifting accessories are correctly positioned before proceeding with the lifting of the
vehicle.
• In order to lift the vehicle, activate the pump by pressing the pedal on the « A » side.
• When the desired height is reached, release the pedal and secure the load by placing the safety axle in the
safety catch of the column.
• Press the pedal of the pump on the « B » side for the charge to come and rest on the safety axle.
Do not lift the crick above the maximum height mark, in order to keep the cylinder from
DESCENT :
• Press the pedal of the pump on the « A » side, in order to release the safety axle.
• Take off the safety axle from the safety catch on the column.
• Press the pedal of the pump on the « B » side in order to lower the vehicle down to the ground or at the
desired intermediate height.
• Take the crick off the vehicle only when the lift is completely lowered.
• The vehicle can then be moved.
In case the lift is not used during a long period, lower the lift all the way to the ground.

SAFETY DEVICES

Safety axle : systematically insert it in the safety catch before mowing the SPOT LIFT with the load lifted. This
axle stops the descent of the carriage in case of accidental breakage of the chain or some hydraulic leakage.
Descent regulation inside the cylinder : in order to always ensure a low descent of the lift.
Safety valves inside the cylinder : prevent the sudden drop of the carriage in case of rupture of the
hydraulic flexible.
Systematically lower the load down to the ground if leaving the device for a long period
of time. When the crick is used, the working area must always be clear, without any

reaching maximum stroke (see mark on photograph below)
Never leave the load lifted, or unattended.
