FORWARD-FACING USE

(76-105 cm and older than 15 months)

Using the seat in forward-facing position is permitted if the child is older

than 15 months and min. 76 cm tall. In order to offer your child the highest

level of protection, we recommend to use RECARO Kio in the rearward-fa-

cing position for as long as possible. If there is not enough room for your

child´s legs you can use the RECARO Kio in the forward-facing position.

NOTE! Accident statistics prove that the safest way to transport your child

in the car is in the rearward-facing position. Therefore we recommend to

use RECARO Kio in the rearward-facing position for as long as possible.

NOTE! The indicator 11 on the headrest 9 shows the body height of the

child, from which the seat can be changed to the forward-facing use at

the earliest.

The seat may only be used forward-facing, if:

• the child is > 76 cm tall and

• the child is min. 16 months old. We recommend to use the seat as long

as possible in rearward-facing position and

• the correctly adjusted headrest 9 covers the indicator 11

(76-105 cm ed età superiore ai 15 mesi)

Un uso nel senso di marcia è consentito se il bambino ha già compiuto

il 15° mese di età e ha un'altezza superiore a 76 cm. Per garantire la

protezione migliore possibile del bambino, consigliamo di usare RECARO

Kio quanto più a lungo possibile nel senso opposto a quello di marcia. Se

però i presupposti citati sopra sono soddisfatti e lo spazio per le gambe del

bambino non è più sufficiente, RECARO Kio può anche essere usato nel

senso di marcia.

AVVISO! Le statistiche sugli incidenti dimostrano che un trasporto del

bambino nella vettura nel senso opposto a quello di marcia è quello più

sicuro. Pertanto consigliamo di usare RECARO Kio quanto più a lungo

possibile nel senso opposto a quello di marcia.

AVVISO! L 'indicatore 11 del poggiatesta 9 mostra anche a partire da quale

altezza minima del bambino può essere consigliato il passaggio al traspor-

to nel senso di marcia. Un uso nel senso di marcia è consentito solo se:

• il bambino ha un'altezza > 76 cm e

• il bambino ha compiuto il 16° mese di età. Si consiglia di usare il più a

lungo possibile il seggiolino nel senso opposto a quello di marcia e che

• il poggiatesta correttamente regolato 9 copra l'indicatore 11.
