Display for hygiene flushing on the fitting
16.1 Allow your hand to approach the sensor at a distance of about 10 cm for 3 seconds.
16.2 Move your hand away from the sensor between the 1st and 2nd flash of the LED.
• Hygiene flushing active: The LED flashes quickly 4 times.
• Hygiene flushing inactive: The LED flashes slowly 2 times.

16.3 Allow your hand to approach the sensor at a distance of about 10 cm for 3 seconds.
16.4 Move your hand away from the sensor detection range between the 6th and 8th
flash of the LED.
• LED does not flash.
16.5 After 3 to 10 seconds, allow your hand to approach the sensor again at a distance of
approx. 10 cm.
16.6 After the third LED flash, move your hand back out of the sensor detection range.
• The LED flashes quickly 4 times. Hygiene flushing is activated.
or
• The LED flashes slowly 2 times. Hygiene flushing is deactivated.

17. Thermal Disinfection

This fitting provides the features necessary to perform thermal disinfection to reduce
the risk of Legionella infection.

Protective measures for persons (scald-protection) must be provided during thermal
disinfection, e.g. closing off sanitary rooms.
Failure to observe can cause bodily harm due to scalding.
The operator is responsible for performing, monitoring and protocoling (room, tap,
date, time, temperature, duration).
Any liability claims by third parties attributed to the operator improperly performing
thermal disinfection are therefore declined by the manufacturer.
By default, thermal disinfection is set in such a way that after 5 minutes of exposure
the fitting cools down for 1 minute.
Thermal disinfection can only be initiated with the remote control.
The parameters for thermal disinfection can be set with the remote control (not
included, see Accessories
Exposure durations of 3, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes can be selected for thermal disin-
fection. During the exposure period, water first flows continuously for 2 minutes, and
then it pulsates until the end of the exposure period (water and energy saving
function). Cooling times of 0, 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes can be set.
