If the chain lubrication system is still not working after
carrying out the steps above and associated measures,
contact your servicing dealer.

Chain drive sprocket

The clutch drum is fitted with one of the following drive
sprockets:
Spur sprocket (the chain sprocket is welded on the
drum) (A)
Rim sprocket (replaceable) (B)

Perform the following maintenance on the chain drive
sprocket:
Regularly do a visual check of the degree of wear on
the drive sprocket. Replace the chain drive sprocket
if the wear is excessive.
Replace the drive sprocket whenever you replace
the saw chain.
To lubricate the needle bearing
Both versions of sprockets have a needle bearing on the
drive shaft, which has to be greased regularly (once a
week).

1. Disengage the chain brake by pulling the front hand
guard against the front handle.
2. Unscrew the two bar nuts and remove the clutch
cover.
3. Lay the product on its side with the clutch drum
facing upwards.
