Operation
Choose "ml" or "floz" when you want to weigh liquids.
4. If you want to weigh something in a container, now place the container without
anything in it onto the weighing surface. Otherwise, proceed as described in point
6.
5. Press TARE.
Depending on the selected unit, "0 g", "0: 0 lboz", "0 floz" or "0 ml" is displayed.
6. Put the substance to be weighed in the container or place it on the weighing
surface.
The measured weight is shown on the display.
7. Read off the measured weight and remove the item or substance from the
container or the weighing surface.
‚ When weighing in "g" (gram), the weight is automatically shown in "kg"
(kilogram) if the measurement is greater than 1000 g.
‚ With the help of the tape measure, you can measure the size of the
item to be weighed.

Set the scale to zero

If the display shows values even though the weighing surface is empty (for example, if
a TARE value is still displayed, see next section), you must set the scales to zero.
− Briefly press the TARE button once.

TARE Function

This function is practical, for example, when baking, if you would like to add another
ingredient to the ingredients already on the scales.
1. Press TARE in order to set the scales back to "0".
2. Add the new substance. The weight of the added substance is shown on the display.
3. Repeat the process whenever you want to add more ingredients. The process can
be repeated as often as needed until the capacity limit (20 kg) is reached.

Hold Function

After removing the substance that was weighed, the weight is still displayed for approx.
8 seconds (hold function). This is practical when the item to be weighed (e.g. packages)
is particularly bulky and has obscured the display during weighing.
After approx. 8 seconds, "0" is shown again in the display.
When you press the TARE button, the display is directly set to "0".
