11.13 Connect the red plug to the solenoid valve cartridge for hot water.

The battery compartment and battery or power pack are not included in the delivery
(see Chapter
11.14 If a power pack is used, unscrew the blind plug (f)
11.15 Mount the cable screw (h).
11.16 Route the plug (j) into the lower part of the housing through the cable screw (h).
11.17 Connect the sensor (l) with
– the battery compartment (k)

– the power supply (g).

If the battery charge state is low, the LED flashes in
a 20-second cycle.
11.18 Fold the front cover (d) up.
11.19 Press the cap (b) onto the front cover (d).
11.20 If using a power pack, connect the power pack to the power supply.

Hygiene Flush

The hygiene flush has been factory-set in such a way that water will flow for 3
minutes every 24 hours once the supply voltage has been connected. Both solenoid
valve cartridges are opened.
Start Hygiene Flush
12.1 Select the following menus on the remote control
– Franke
– Sensor function
– 8X Hygiene unit functions
12.2 Select the menu point "Hygiene Flush".
12.3 Press the "OK" button.
12.4 Press the

• Water will flow for the pre-set time.
