Troubleshooting

In purchasing this measuring device, you have acquired a product which has been designed to the state
of the art and is operationally reliable.
Nevertheless, problems or faults may occur.
For this reason, the following is a description of how you can eliminate possible malfunctions yourself:
Always observe the safety instructions!
Error
The device cannot
be switched on.
No stable measurement
value is displayed.
The device cannot
be controlled.
Repairs other than those described should only be carried out by an authorised specialist.

Possible cause
Are the batteries spent?
Wrong measurement?
You may still be in the
"WARM UP" phase.
The ambient conditions require
a slightly longer measurement time.
Undefined system status.
Remedy
Check the battery status.
Reset the device by pressing the
Reset button (10).
Wait until "WARM UP" in no
longer shown in the display.
The normal measurement time is
approximately 2 minutes.
If there is poor air circulation this
period may increase. Measure
for a little longer.
Reset the device by pressing
the Reset button (10).
