Product Description

Intended Use
The system is designed solely for pumping the
following media:
• Lubricants with a viscosity of
NLGI 4/1'000'000 mPa s or less
• Container size according to the datasheet
Labelling
The drum pump is identified by the rating plate loca-
ted on the base frame (Figure C).

Functionality
ABNOX drum pumps are used to pump lubricants
from original containers. The suction behaviour of
the standard ABNOX pumps is improved consider-
ably by the adjustable follower plate pressure, since
the media is forced towards the suction port. This
also makes it possible to prevent the follower plate
from getting stuck, for example on a seam of the
container.
An empty signal stops the pumping process when
the container reaches the lowest fill level and indica-
tes this state with a warning signal (option). Switching
off the pump prevents suctioning air. This eliminates
bleeding the entire system, which is necessary when
air is trapped, including the resulting extensive loss
of media.
