Product Description

Intended Use
The lubricant pump is ideal as a feed pump for
ABNOX dosing valves or as a transfer pumping and
decanting system.
ABNOX compressed air grease pumps are used to
pump medium to high-viscosity lubricants as well as
silicone greases and oils.
Labelling
The AXSP lubricant pump is marked on the motor
and on the suction system. See the following table for
a detailed explanation of the information:

Assembly/Installation

The product is to be set up or installed at the inten-
ded use site under due consideration of the following
conditions:
• At the location and site all applicable provisions of
law must be clarified and compliance with them
assured.
• The ground and space relations are to be clarified
prior to set-up/installation of the product in order
to assure safe operation for the personnel and the
product long-term. The product must be set-up/
installed so that safe, permanent operation is
assured.
• The product may only be set up and commissioned
by specially trained technicians.
• The product is constructed for rooms that are
protected from the influence of the weather
(industry standard).
• The operation and storage in aggressive or humid
environments or outdoors can lead to corrosion
damages.

Coupling the air motor/suction system

1. Couple the piston rod of the air motor to the piston
rod of the suction system (Figure B)
2. Align the three positioning screws
(Figure B/No. 14)
3. Slide the air motor and suction system together
until the heads of the positioning screws are pres-
sed through the coupling discs against the stop of
the air motor (Figure C)
4. Secure with the coupling disc (Figure C/No. 7)
5. Firmly tighten the two coupling screws (Figure C)

Commissioning

• Set the feed pump into an appropriate original
container with corresponding follower plate.
• Connect the feed pump to the compressed air
supply (Figure A/No. 9). ATTENTION: The pump
starts immediately after it is connected to the
compressed air supply.
• Bleed the feed pump until grease comes out
continuously:
- Figure A/No.10 (optional)
- Figure A/No. 4
• Turn off the feed pump  disconnect or turn off the
compressed air supply (Figure A/No. 9).
