PROTECTIVE HOLSTER
The holster/tilt stand protects the meter from accidental falls and provides greater ease of use. Both test lead
probes can be attached to the holster for storage. One probe can be attached for measurement, holding the
meter with probe in one hand and the second probe in the other hand.
D • Schutz-Holster
Das Schutzholster schützt das Gerät vor Stürzen und Stößen. Die Meßspitzen können am Holster befestigt

E • Funda Protectora
La funda con pie integrado protege el medidor en caso de caídas accidentales. Las puntas de prueba
pueden fijarse a la funda.
F • Gaine de Protection
La gaine protège l'appareil contre des chutes accidentelles et des chocs. Les sondes des cordons peuvent
être attachées à la gaine.
Note: In both instances, the overload indication is normal in the OHMS and Continuity/Diode ranges to
indicate an open circuit.
Function Error is signaled a by continuous tone when a test lead is placed in either the 10A or A (ACx for
HD115B) jack and the selector switch is not in the correct current range or capacitance range for HD115B. If
the meter is connected to a voltage source with test leads set for current, very high current could result. All
current ranges are protected with fast acting fuses.
Battery Low: When the battery low indicator is displayed the battery has less than 50 hours operation and
the accuracy of the meter can no longer be guaranteed.
D • Überlastanzeige
Bei Überlast erscheint "1" in der Anzeige. Höheren Bereich wählen. Bei Überlastanzeige im höchsten
Bereich, Messung unterbrechen, da der Meßwert die Eingangsgrenze überschreitet.
Anmerkung: Überlastanzeige ist normal bei Widerstandsmessung wenn Meßkabelspitzen offen sind oder
wenn der Meßwert den Bereich überschreitet.
Eingangswarnung: Wenn ein Meßkabel in die 10A oder A-Buchse (ACx beim HD115B) eingesteckt ist
und der Bereichsschalter nicht auf dem richtigen Strom- oder Kapazitätsbereich steht, wird ein Dauerton
OVERLOAD/ERROR/BATTERY INDICATIONS
Overload Indication: (input exceeds meter's highest range) and Display
Overload (input exceeds selected range) are both signaled by a 1 displayed
on the left side of the LCD. In the volts or amperage ranges Display Overload
can be corrected by selecting a higher range to display the input reading. If
the highest range is selected and the overload indication continues, this is
now an Input Overload. Remove the test leads from the circuit immediately
as input exceeds the meter's rated capability.
