GENERAL: Turn instrument on by turning function/range switch away from OFF and selecting the parameter
you want to measure. If the parameter selected has more than one range position, the display will indicate the
range by a changing position of the decimal point. Always select the highest range if the maximum potential
reading is not known. Then turn the selector switch down in range to obtain the best resolution reading.
General Measurement Procedures: I When connecting or disconnecting test leads to a circuit, always
turn off power to device or circuit being tested and discharge all capacitors. I Strictly observe the max input
limits. I Do not change functions while test leads are connected to circuit.
NOTE: For simplification purposes the HD110B illustration appears where instructions and information are
common to both the HD110B and HD115B. In cases where instructions and information are exclusive to the
HD115B, only it will appear or statements will be marked "HD115B Only." Because the HD115B has additional
ranges and features the selector switch's positions and menu button shapes may differ slightly for the same
function.
D • Meßprozeduren
Einschalten: Gerät einschalten durch Funktions- Bereichsschalter weg von OFF nach der gewünschten
Funktion drehen. Hat die Meßfunktion mehrere Bereiche, dann gibt die Anzeige, durch Plazierung des
Dezimalpunktes den aktiven Bereich an. Bei unbekannter Signalgröße zuerst den höchsten Bereich wählen –
dann einen niedrigeren Bereich um die beste Auflösung zu erhalten.
Allgemein: I Vor Verbinden und Trennen der Meßkabel mit dem Schaltkreis, diesen abschalten und
Kondensatoren entladen. I Maximale Grenzen nicht überschreiten. I Keinen Funktionswechsel
vornehmen während die Meßspitzen mit dem Schaltkreis verbunden sind.
Anmerkung: Einfachheitshalber wird in den folgenden Beschreibungen das HD110B Multimeter
abgebildet wenn Instruktionen für HD110B und HD115B gleich sind. Das HD115B wird abgebildet bei
Instruktionen welche nur für dieses Gerät gültig sind oder der Hinweis "nur HD115B" wird beigefügt. Da
das HD115B zusätzliche Bereiche und Funktionen hat, können Form und Plazierung von Tasten und
Beschriftungen für die gleiche Funktion anders aussehen.
