POWER
Press this switch to turn the unit standby or off.
The equipment draws nominal non-operating power from
the AC outlet with its POWER switch in the OFF position.

STANDBY/ON
When the POWER switch of the main unit is depressed, use this
button to turn the unit on or standby.
The standby indicator lights when the unit is in the standby
mode. When the unit is turned on, it goes off.
C
Remote Sensor
When operating the remote control unit, point it towards the
remote sensor.
D
PHONES
For private listening, insert the headphones plug into this jack,
and adjust the volume by turning the VOLUME knob.
E
BASS
Use this knob to adjust the level of low frequency information.
F
TREBLE
Use this knob to adjust the level of high frequency information.
G
BALANCE
Use this knob to adjust the balance of the speakers.
Normally, set the knob to the center position.
H
FM MODE
Use this button to select stereo or monaural.
I
MEMORY
Use this button to store preset channels into memory.
J
BAND
Use this button to select FM or AM.
K
TUNING/PRESET
In the manual tuning mode, use these buttons to tune in a
station.
In the preset tuning mode, use these buttons to select a preset
channel.
L
TUNING MODE
Use this button to select the manual tuning mode or the preset
tuning mode.
M
VOLUME
Turn this knob (or press the VOLUME buttons of the remote
control unit) to adjust the volume level.
N
Display
When the unit is on, the current status of the unit is displayed.
O
FUNCTION
Use this knob (or buttons of the remote control unit) to select a
source.

When the POWER switch of the main unit is depressed, use this
button to turn the unit standby.

When the POWER switch of the main unit is depressed, use this
button to turn the unit on.

Buttons for the operation of TEAC R-H300mkII (TAPE).

RDS
In FM tuner mode, use this button for RDS function.
RDS is available in European countries only.

Buttons for the operation of TEAC PD-H300mkIII (CD).

DIMMER
Use this button to dim the display of AG-H300mkIII and PD-
H300mkIII.

Numeric buttons
Use these buttons to select a track number or a preset channel.
Press the CD or TUNER button to select the component to be
operated, and then press the numeric buttons.
(Even when the CD or TUNER button is pressed without
pointing at the main unit, the selection of the remote control
unit will be changed.)
For instance, to select track number 35, first press the CD
button, and then press "3" and "5".
To select numbers less than 10, press "0" and then the number.
As an example, to select number 5, press "0" and "5".
(Optionally, you may press just the number "5" and then wait a
few seconds.)

PRESET CALL
In the preset tuning mode, use these buttons to select a preset
channel.

SLEEP
Use this button to set sleep timer.
Note:
< To simplify explanations, instructions refer to names of buttons
and controls on the front panel, making no mention of the use
of remote control unit.
< Following buttons work on the T-H300DABmkIII only. They
don't work on AG-H300mkIII:
