5.- MAINTENANCE
5.1.- General
–– After the first 24 hours of operation, the
following points are to be checked:
1. Overall check of the tower to detect any
abnormal noise or vibration.
2. Control the water level in the collecting
basin during the operation. Regulate if
necessary.
3. Inspect spray nozzles and fill.
4. Check that there are no leakages of water
in the connections.
–– In case the tower is going to be out of service
for a long time,
precautions:
1. Drain the water in the collecting basin
and in all pipes.
2. Clean and rinse carefully the basin, with
the filter installed during this operation.
Remove drain cap to allow the coming out
of eventual rainwater or melted snow.
3. Remove, clean and reassemble the filter.
4. With the feed water valve closed, drain the
pipe to avoid eventual freezing of water
inside.
5. Check isolation of electric motors before
starting again the installation.
6. Before starting again the tower, lubricate
the bearings of fan and electric motor
shafts.
7. Inspect the condition of fill and drift
eliminator.
8. Check the angle of blades in the fan

– Après les premières
fonctionnement, on
aspects suivants:
1. Contrôle général de la tour pour détecter
n'importe quel
anormale.
2. Contrôler le niveau d'eau dans le bassin
pendant le régime de fonctionnement.
Régler si nécessaire.
3. Inspecter les
garnissage.
4. Vérifier qu'il n'existe pas des fuites d'eau
au niveau des raccordements.
–– Quand la tour est laissée hors service
pendant une longue période, il faut prendre
les précautions suivantes:
1. Vider l'eau du bassin et de toutes les
tuyauteries.
2. Nettoyer et bien rincer le bassin, en
laissant le filtre monté pendant cette
opération. Enlever
drainage pour permettre la sortie de l'eau
de pluie et la neige fondue.
3. Démonter, nettoyer et monter à nouveau le
filtre.
4. Fermer la valve d'alimentation d'entrée
d'eau et vider toute la tuyauterie à fin
d'éviter le gel de l'eau à l'intérieur.
5. Vérifier l'état d'isolement des moteurs
avant de remettre en marche l'installation.
6. Avant de mettre à nouveau la tour en
fonctionnement, graisser les coussinets
des axes du ventilateur et du moteur.
7. Inspecter l'état du garnissage et du
séparateur.
8. Vérifier l´angle des pales du ventilateur.
