3. Charging the Battery Pack
Charge the Battery Pack before initial use and if the device has not been used for a long period. To charge:
1. Connect the Power Adapter to a standard 110 VAC electrical outlet.
2. Insert the Power Adapter plug into the Connection Socket on the Battery Pack. When charging, the green
Battery Level LED will flash.
3. The Battery Pack is fully charged when the Battery Level LED stops flashing and displays steadily (2-3
hours for a completely discharged Battery Pack). Disconnect the Power Adapter Plug; the LED will shut
off. Charge the Battery Pack at least once per year to maintain its capacity.
WARNING
While charging, do not cover the Battery Pack. Only charge the Battery Pack in a dry environment at
normal room temperature.
