• Non-observance of the following notes may result in personal injury or material damage (electric
shock, skin burns, fire). The following safety and hazard information is not only intended to protect
your health and the health of others, it should also protect the product. For this reason, pay atten-
tion to these safety notes and include these instructions when handing over the product to others.
• This heat wrap must not be used by persons who are not sensitive to heat or by vulnerable per-
sons who may not be able to react to overheating.
• Not for use by children. Adult use only.
• Do not insert sharp objects (e.g. needles) into the product.
• Do not use when folded or bunched up.
• Do not use product if you or the product is wet.
• This heat wrap may only be used in conjunction with the Battery Pack specified on the label.
• To charge the Battery Pack, use only the power supply unit (charger) provided.
• The electrical and magnetic fields emitted by this heat wrap may interfere with the function of
a pacemaker. However, they are still well below the limits for electrical field strength (5000 V/m
max), magnetic field strength (80 A/m max), and magnetic flux density (0.1 millitesla max). Please
consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this heat wrap.
• Do not pull, twist or make sharp bends in the cables.
• Please check this heat wrap frequently for signs of wear and tear or damage. If detected, dis-
continue use and contact customer service.
• When this heat wrap is switched on:
- Do not place any objects on it (e.g. suitcase or washing basket).
- Heat sources, such as hot water bottles, other heat wraps or similar, must not be placed
on the pad.
• Do not cover the Battery Pack (e.g. with blankets, cushions, pillows or similar items) while charg-
ing it.
• Please disconnect this equipment from AC outlet before cleaning. Don't use liquid or sprayed
detergent for cleaning.
• For pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be
easily accessible.
• Please keep this equipment from humidity.
• Make sure the voltage of the power source connects the equipment to the power outlet.
• All cautions and warnings on the equipment should be noted.
• lf the equipment will not be in use for long time, disconnect the equipment from mains to avoid
being damaged by transient over-voltage.
• Never open the equipment. For safety reasons, only qualified service personnel should open
the equipment.
• lf one of the following situations arises, get the equipment checked by service personnel:
a. Liquid has penetrated into the equipment.
b. The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
c. The equipment has not worked well or you can not get it to work according to user's manuat.
d. The equipment has dropped and damaged.
e. lf the equipment has obvious signs of breakage.
• Do not leave this equipment in an environment unconditioned, storage temperature above
104 °F (40 °C), it may damage the equipment.
• For connection to a supply not in the U.S.A., use an approved attachment plug adapter of the
proper configuration for the power outlet, if needed. Or, if the shape of the plug does not fit
the power outlet, use an approved attachment plug adaptor of the proper configuration for the
power outlet.

CAUTION:
This heat wrap is equipped with a Safety Shut-off Sensor that prevents the heat wrap from overheat-
ing. If the Safety Shut-off Sensor is triggered, the heat wrap will shut off. After cooling down to room
temperature, the heat wrap can be switched on again.
