CONNECTION TO PROGRESS
1 - Disasemble Fixture by removing three long Machine Screws (1 ) and two Shades (2) & (3). Remove
Glass Globe (4) and Gasket (5). (See figure 1)
CAUTION All Glass is Fragile Use care when handling Glass (4) and Lamp(s).
2. Slip F,xture Wres (10) down through Nipple (7) (FURNISHED WITH FIXTURE) or Stem (8) (from
Optional Progress 8666 or 8667 Stem Kit) and Thread Nipple (7) or Stem (8) firmly up into Fixture. (See
Figure 1)
3.- Connect Flxture W.re (10) with the W.re Connector
4 - Thread Nipple (7) or Stem (8) firmly down Into Optional Progress 8618 Ground Stake (9). Slip
Fixture Wires (10) out through open side of Stake (9) and make Connections
splice tube as shown (See Figure 1). Push Stake (9) down Into Ground until top of Stake (9) IS even
with grade (See Fgure 1)
5. Instal Lamp (INCLUDED) 12 volt, 18 watt wedge base (T-5, #921)
6.-Replace Gasket (5) and Globe (4). Replace Shades (2) & (3) on Fixture Body and Secure •n Place
with long Machine Screws (1) (See Figure 1).
7.- Connect Fixture Wire (12) to selected 10 or 12 Ga. Cable (13) wth the Wire Connector Assembly
(11) provided With fixture. (Fig. 2)
8.- Press 10 Ga. cable into slot marked 10 Ga. Press 12 Ga. cable into slot marked 12 Ga. Lay the 18
Ga. Wire into slot marked 18 Ga. (Fg. 2)
Caution• Wires must lay flat in the slot
9. Assemble the Wire Connector (II) by alignng the Tab (14) of the contact half of the connector with
the Notch (15) n the Wired half of the connector.
10.- Compress the two halves by securely tightening the Thread Cutting Screw (16), forang the
contacts into the wres. (Fg 2)
Note: Do not install w thin 5 feet of a pool, spa, or fountan

CAUTION: Read instructions carefully and turn electricity off at main
circuit breaker panel before beginning installation
