y Safety Precaution
Here are some safety instructions for your security:
- Once used, the CO2 cartridge must be replaced with a new Hip'Safe cartridge of the same
capacity (50 cc or 60 cc) ( on sale on our website www.helite.com or at our dealers.)
- The belt should be stored carefully when not used. Keep it away from high temperatures
(over 45°C) and humidity.
- Failure to follow the instructions could lead to malfunction or reduce the effectiveness of
the airbag system.
- Do not wear Hip'Safe under pants.
- Do not wear Hip'Safe directly on the skin.
- Make sure that Hip'Safe is on the right side before using it.
- Do not remove any part of the airbag system or of the cartridge.
- Never close the belt when you are not wearing it (to avoid unexpected triggering)
- Never close the belt when you are charging it (to avoid unexpected triggering)
- Modifications or misuse of the airbag system could decrease dangerously the effectiveness
of your system.
- Do not wash the belt, only the cover is washable in a washing machine or by hand.
- The belt is not suitable for sport pratice
- Do not use under the shower or in a bath.
- Keep out of reach of children
- The belt is not suitable for people with demencia symptoms or neuro-degenerative diseases
